Professional psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families available in English and Spanish. Services are available in Woodland, Davis, West Sacramento, and Esparto. Cost based on a sliding scale based on income and family size. YFSA accepts many public and private insurance plans.

Psycho-Educational/Support Groups

Issue specific topics provided over eight to twelve weeks and led by a licensed or license-eligible clinician.

Kids’ Turn
Kids' Turn is a six week program serving children & parents experiencing divorce or separation. Safe place to improve communication skills, help parents understand & children to cope. Children ages 4-14 in groups and their parents in separate groups. Fee based on income.

Is a school-based program for teens that provides crisis intervention, prevention and psycho-educational services throughout Yolo County

Services for Clients Who Speak Spanish

YFSA offers therapy in Spanish for couples, families and individuals (adults and children). Our therapists are bilingual and are familiar with cultural differences. YFSA also offers groups in Spanish, in those cases in which they are needed.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

A behavior management program for children ages 2-7. Years of research have shown the effectiveness of PCIT on helping parents learn new ways to eliminate destructive behaviors in young children such as physical aggression, swearing defiance, and respect to adults.
