Administrative staff
The Administrative Staff supports the counseling and educational programs offered by YFSA.
Executive Director: Trisha Stanionis
Trisha Stanionis has many years of experience in the non-profit world, as well as the corporate sectors. She is dedicated to achieving the goal of ensuring that everyone who needs services has access to them, that the community understands the need for wide availability of mental health services, and that there no longer needs to be a stigma attached to mental heatlh.
Client Services Manager: Blanca Sandoval
Blanca Sandoval, one of our bilingual staff, brings many years of experience to her position coordinating the services offered by the agency. She is passionate about facilitating the best care possible for the clients — arranging appointments, scheduling the therapists, and making referrals for needed support services.
Office Manager: Maureen Jordan
Maureen Jordan is an excellent multi-tasking office manager, balancing the bookeeping needs, the billing requirements and the overall facility maintenance with a strong spirit of committment to the agency mission and concern for the clients being the overriding factor.
Clinical Staff
Yolo Family Service Agency clinical staff helps families, children, teens and individuals overcome their life challenges and experience greater satisfaction in their personal lives and relationships.
Clinical Program Director: Lew Oleson, LCSW
Lewis Oleson, the Clinical Program Director, earned his MSW at UCLA and has a second Master’s Degree in Clinical Child Psychology. A former elementary school teacher, his concerns center on the impact of general stressors and particular events on children, parents, couples, and individual adults, as well as the quality of the relationships in a person’s life that might support her or him respond to these challenges.
Clinical Supervisors
Jane Zeiger, LCSW
Jane Zeiger, LCSW, earned her MSW at UC Berkeley. She has been a part-time clinical supervisor and training coordinator at YFSA for 15 years. She has also maintained a private practice in Sacramento for almost 30 years. Her particular interests include mood and anxiety disorders, infant mental health and parenting, loss and grief and DBT. She is on the Standards and Ethics Committee for the CA Society for Clinical Social Work.
Clinical Staff Members
Rebecca Brunette, LCSW obtained her MSW from CSU Fresno. She works with children, teens, adults, and families. She is knowledgeable in child development, and family systems. She has a special interest working with the 0-5 age group, their families, and communities to build life long emotional health. She has over 14 years of experience treating trauma, attachment, depression, loss, and anxiety.
Clara Cazares, ASW
Clara Cazares is a bilingual, bicultural Associate Clinical Social Worker Intern, who received her MSW from CSUS. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She interacts with clients to discover their strengths in order to address and cope with depression, anxiety, foster care, and relationship issues. She also has experience with parents-child interactive therapy (PCIT).
Janelle Dent, MFT
Janelle Dent is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master’s degree in counseling from Sacrameto State University. She works with children, adolescents, adults and families whom are coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, foster care and grief/loss issues. She also has experience with school based counseling and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT).
Edie Dornbush, MFT
Edie Dornbush is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nine years of experience. She received her Master’s degree from CSUS. She appreciates working with people of all ages and enjoys coming along side them in their journey towards healing. She is especially fond of working with younger children, but also has teens, adults and couples on her case load. She specializes in Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT
Chris Shellhammer, MFT
Chris Shellhammer LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 17 years experience working with children, teens, adults, couples and families. She has a B.S. in child Development from UCD and a M.S. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from CSUS. She has extensive experience working with trauma issues, including sexual abuse and domestic violence. Other areas of interest include women’s issues, depression, adult children of alcoholics, children with chronic medical conditions, and LGBT issues. She is certified in EMDR.
Eileen Spoth, ASW
Eileen Spoth has her MSW from UC – Berkeley, and has worked for five years as a school-based therapist. She has a background working in the fields of adolescent psychology, drug and alcohol addiction, chronic mental illness, foster placement, and mental health counseling.
Priscilla Padilla, MFTI
Priscilla Padilla is a graduate from California State University of Sacramento where she received her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She works with a variety of clients who face a variety of issues including, grief, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and relational issues. She has experience in working with emotionally disturbed children and children with autism in classroom settings.
